ACM Chico maintains a Yahoo! Group for communication, and we recommend subscribing to the e-mail list if you'd like to be involved with our chapter. We regularly use this list to send out announcements about upcoming events and other important information.

If you're interested in getting involved, then contact one of our officers or attend a general meeting. If you're enthusiastic and willing to help us build a supportive community of students within the Computer Science department, then we encourage you to join!
However, we do have a local chapter membership fee of $5.00 per semester to support club activities. This is in addition to any fees you pay for membership in the national organization, and paying our local chapter fee does not make you an official member of the national organization. It's your responsibility to apply for that membership on your own, either by mail or through http://www.acm.org/membership/student/
